Food Authority: 42 violation reports issued against food establishments in Hawalli Governorate

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, represented by the Inspection Department of Hawalli Governorate, conducted inspection rounds at several food establishments in the governorate, resulting in the issuance of 42 violation and seizure reports. These violations included expired health licenses, non-compliance with health certificates for workers, breaches of health and hygiene standards, and the transportation of food items without proper licensing.

The Authority stated in a press release that food samples were collected and sent to the laboratory to verify their safety and suitability for human consumption.

The Authority emphasized that it continues its supervisory rounds to safeguard the health and safety of consumers.
