Ministry of Education: Kuwaiti Student Team Participates in International Earth Science Olympiad in Italy

The Ministry of Education announced the participation of a team of students from the State of Kuwait in the 19th International Earth Science Olympiad, hosted by the Italian city of Turin from August 20 to 27. This participation aligns with the Ministry’s commitment to supporting learners, developing their scientific capabilities, and enhancing their involvement in international forums.
In a press statement on Wednesday, the Ministry noted that the student team representing the country at this international scientific forum comprises four students: Talal Al-Mutairi from Tariq bin Ziyad Secondary School, Ghaliya Al-Anzi from Habibah bint Shurayh Secondary School, Narjes Sabti from Layla Al-Ghafiriya Secondary School, and Kawthar Al-Qattan from Bayan Secondary School.
The Ministry emphasized that the students’ participation reflects the results of efforts dedicated to nurturing, preparing, and equipping learners to compete in global competitions and Olympiads, thereby refining their scientific skills, developing their capabilities in Earth sciences, and strengthening the State of Kuwait’s presence in international scientific forums.
The Ministry expressed its best wishes for the team’s success, hoping they achieve honorable results befitting the name of the State of Kuwait and raise the national flag high at this global scientific event.
