German Chancellor Strongly Condemns Extremist Ben Gvir's Remarks on Gaza

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz condemned on Wednesday the remarks of Israel’s far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, who called on Israel to kill between 30 and 40 people every night in Gaza, according to a government spokesperson.

Spokesperson Sebastian Hill said that “the Chancellor strongly condemns the inhumane calls made by Minister Ben Gvir, which violate international law,” adding that “they are unacceptable.”
