State of Kuwait condemns Israeli occupation airstrikes on Abu al-Duhur Airbase in Idlib Governorate, Syria

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s condemnation and strong rejection of the Israeli occupation’s airstrikes targeting Abu al-Duhur Airbase in the Idlib Governorate of the sister Arab Republic of Syria, in violation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and as an escalation that threatens to undermine regional security and stability.

In a statement issued today, Tuesday, the Ministry called on the international community and the Security Council to fulfill their responsibilities to halt the repeated Israeli occupation attacks on Syrian territory and to ensure respect for the rules of international law and the United Nations Charter.

The Ministry reaffirmed the State of Kuwait’s firm position supporting the sovereignty, territorial integrity, security, and stability of the sister Arab Republic of Syria.
