Pakistan's Supreme Court orders the transfer of former Prime Minister Imran Khan from prison to hospital

Pakistan’s Supreme Court ordered the transfer of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is imprisoned, to a hospital for medical examinations on Tuesday, in response to a petition filed by his lawyers regarding the deterioration of his health.

Judge Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui stated that Khan, 73, who has been detained since 2023 on corruption charges, will be transferred within the next two days to Shifa International Hospital in the capital, Islamabad.
