Kuwait's Minister of Youth and Sports Holds Talks with Bahrain's Minister of Youth to Enhance Bilateral Cooperation

Kuwait’s Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs, Dr. Tareq Al-Jalahma, held talks in Manama today, Sunday, with Bahrain’s Minister of Youth Affairs, Rawan Tawfiq, to explore ways to enhance bilateral youth cooperation between the two fraternal countries across various fields, and to exchange experiences and expertise, thereby leveraging successful initiatives and programs on both sides.
The meeting took place during Dr. Al-Jalahma’s visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening fraternal relations and developing cooperation pathways in the youth and sports sectors.
Minister Al-Jalahma expressed his appreciation for the warm reception, emphasizing the deep fraternal ties binding the two countries and their peoples, and reaffirming Kuwait’s dedication to enhancing cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain in the youth field.
He highlighted the importance of exchanging successful experiences and expertise between the two countries, which would contribute to developing programs and initiatives aimed at youth, enhancing their capacities, and supporting their aspirations.
For her part, the Bahraini Minister of Youth Affairs underscored the historical and fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, noting the strong support and patronage they receive from Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Kuwait’s Emir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect and guard them.
She pointed out that youth cooperation serves as a renewed bridge to strengthen these relations and as a platform for building partnerships that harness youth energy and open broader horizons for their experimentation and achievements.
She stressed the importance of continuing to develop joint efforts in the youth sector through the exchange of expertise and successful experiences, organizing joint programs and events, and providing spaces that enable Bahraini and Kuwaiti youth to communicate, learn, benefit, and exchange knowledge.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing communication between Bahraini and Kuwaiti youth and expanding their participation in joint programs, events, and forums, thereby strengthening bonds of fraternity and communication between the two countries and supporting the establishment of sustainable youth partnerships based on the exchange of knowledge and expertise, and transforming successful experiences into joint initiatives that yield positive and sustainable impacts.
