"Private Universities" Launches the Second Phase of the "Build Your Future" Campaign to Support Domestic Scholarship Students

The General Secretariat of the Council of Private Universities launched the second phase of the “Build Your Future” guidance campaign for domestic scholarships today, Sunday, by inaugurating a technical support booth and activating an inquiry service via WhatsApp. The campaign will continue until August 13 at the Al Sanabel Tower.

Dr. Jassem Al-Ali, the Secretary-General of the Council, told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the launch of the second phase coincides with registration for the domestic scholarships plan for the 2026/2027 academic year. This move extends the General Secretariat’s efforts to keep pace with students’ needs, facilitate application procedures, and enhance the level of services provided to them.

Al-Ali added that the booth offers support to help students and their parents complete application data, upload required documents, and resolve technical difficulties that may arise while using the electronic registration system. Meanwhile, the WhatsApp service provides an additional channel for receiving inquiries and offering necessary guidance via the number 22924401.

He clarified that this initiative comes in strategic partnership with National Bank of Kuwait and Weyay Bank, as part of joint cooperation to support the campaign’s objectives and enhance services provided to students during the registration period.

Al-Ali urged students to review their data and documents and complete their applications within the specified deadlines, wishing them success and prosperity in their academic journey.

For his part, Mohammed Al-Othman, Chief Executive Officer of Personal and Digital Banking Services at the National Bank, told KUNA that the bank is committed to supporting the campaign at all its stages as its strategic partner, reaffirming its continued cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Council of Private Universities.

Al-Othman added that the bank’s participation in the campaign stems from its belief in the importance of guiding students in the post-secondary school stage and helping them choose majors that align with labor market needs. This allows them to benefit from the experiences of previous students, understand the nature of various majors, and learn about the challenges they may face during their academic journey.
