Defense Minister Receives Turkish Ambassador on Completion of Her Term and Discusses Common Issues with Indian Ambassador

Defense Minister Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah received the Ambassador of the friendly Republic of Turkey to the State of Kuwait, Topa Sunmez, on the occasion of the conclusion of her tenure in the country.

The Ministry of Defense stated in a press release on Monday that Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the efforts Ambassador Sunmez had made throughout her period of service, commending her contributions to supporting and strengthening cooperative relations between Kuwait and Turkey, and wishing her continued success and achievement in her future assignments.

In a separate reception, the Defense Minister discussed with the Ambassador of the Republic of India to the country, Bramita Tripathi, a number of topics of mutual interest and ways to enhance cooperation between the two friendly nations.
