Collision of two helicopters while participating in extinguishing a forest fire in Greece

Two helicopters collided on Sunday while participating in efforts to extinguish a fierce fire in Greece, according to the fire service.

The agency said in a statement that a rescue operation is currently underway to locate the crews of the two helicopters, as the country has been grappling with wildfires for a week that have consumed more than 12,000 hectares of forests and agricultural land.
