Chief of Staff and Italian Minister of Defense Discuss Enhancing Joint Defense Cooperation

Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan, and Italian Minister of Defense Guido Crosetto discussed ways to support and develop joint defense cooperation, reflecting the deep and close relations between the two friendly countries.

The General Staff Office stated in a press release on Friday that this took place during Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan’s official visit to the friendly Italian Republic, where he reviewed a number of topics and issues of mutual interest with the Italian Minister of Defense, in the presence of Kuwait’s Ambassador to the Italian Republic, Nasser Al-Qahtani.

The statement noted that the Chief of the General Staff and the accompanying delegation returned to the country on Friday evening following the conclusion of his official visit to the friendly Italian Republic.
