Qatar strongly condemns repeated Iranian attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain

The State of Qatar strongly condemned the renewed Iranian attacks on the territories of both Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain, deeming them a blatant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the two countries, as well as a flagrant breach of international law, the UN Charter, and principles of good neighborliness.

In a statement issued today, Monday, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the continuation of these attacks constitutes a dangerous escalation that could complicate efforts to contain tensions and undermine political and diplomatic initiatives aimed at achieving security and stability in the region.

The Ministry stressed the urgent need for an immediate and complete halt to all military actions and attacks threatening the region’s security and stability, and called for refraining from any measures that could widen the scope of escalation, while returning seriously to the path of dialogue and negotiations and committing to the understandings reached through diplomatic efforts.

Qatar reaffirmed its full solidarity with Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain, and its support for all measures they take to safeguard their sovereignty and security.
