Minister of Health Discusses Ways to Enhance Cooperation with President of the Arabian Gulf University in the Kingdom of Bahrain

Today, Monday, Minister of Health Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadi held talks with a delegation from the Gulf University for Science and Technology in the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by the university’s president, Dr. Saad Al-Fahid, to explore ways to enhance joint cooperation between the Ministry of Health and the university and to discuss developing the partnership in health and academic fields of mutual interest.
The Ministry of Health said in a press statement that the meeting addressed prospects for cooperation in medical education, training, scientific research, capacity building, and the development of health competencies, alongside the exchange of expertise, all of which contribute to supporting the quality of health services, strengthening integration between academic and health institutions, and advancing the health development agenda in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
The Bahraini delegation included Deputy University President Dr. Ghazi Al-Attiyah, Dean of the College of Education Dr. Walid Zabari, and Dean of the College of Medicine Dr. Muhammad Maddin.
