China condemns Trump's "fabricated" allegations of interference in the US elections

China on Friday condemned the US president’s allegations, made during his address to the nation, that it interfered in the country’s elections, describing them as “fabricated.”
Spokesperson Lin Jian of the Chinese Foreign Ministry said at a press conference that “the claims issued by the US side are merely fabricated allegations and malicious falsehoods that have long been proven to be baseless.”
