Kuwait Chief of Staff Discusses Ways to Develop Bilateral Cooperation with Turkish Defense Minister

Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan, and Turkish Minister of National Defense Yasar Guler discussed topics and issues of mutual interest and ways to support and develop bilateral cooperation across various fields.

The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces said in a press statement on Thursday that this came during Lieutenant General Al-Sharhan’s official visit to Turkey, where he met with Minister Guler in the capital, Ankara, and they reviewed joint cooperation and exchanged friendly remarks, reflecting the depth of the close relations between the two friendly countries.

It is worth noting that during the visit, Lieutenant General Al-Sharhan met with the Chief of the Turkish General Staff, General Salih Cevik Bir, where they reviewed military and defense cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to develop and strengthen them.

According to the statement, the Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces and the accompanying delegation returned to the country on Thursday evening following the conclusion of the visit.
