Ministry of Education Launches First Cohort of National 'Trainee Teacher' Program with Participation of 1,078 Trainees

Kuwait — The Ministry of Education announced on Saturday the launch of training for the first cohort of the National Program for Preparing and Qualifying New Teachers (“Trainee Teacher”), starting tomorrow, Sunday, as part of its efforts to develop the teacher preparation and qualification system and enhance the quality of educational performance in line with the requirements of development in the educational field.

The Ministry stated in a press release that the program, implemented under the supervision of the General Administration for Development and Improvement, targets 1,078 trainees from graduates of educational specialties who have completed all required documents and prerequisites, including a medical examination and a “no criminal record” certificate. Graduates of non-educational specialties will join them in accordance with the program and the specific plan designated for this category, following the completion of the required procedures and documents.

It was clarified that 34 trainers have been approved in accordance with the standards and controls adopted for the National Program to participate in its implementation and deliver its training content, ensuring a uniform training level, enhancing the quality of its outcomes, and providing organized qualification programs that respond to the professional and educational needs of new teachers.

The Ministry called on the trainees covered by the program to review the “Dal” platform via the link https://tnts.moe.edu.kw/ to review details and instructions, confirm the completion of necessary requirements and procedures, and adhere to the specified training schedules to ensure consistent implementation and achieve the desired objectives.
