Washington, Nov 5 (KUNA) -- U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday that he expects a major agreement to resolve the conflict between Russia and Ukraine to be reached soon, noting that the potential deal could extend beyond the Ukrainian crisis to encompass Europe as well. In remarks to reporters at the White House, Trump added, “It will be a big, beautiful deal, and I can say it may also include Europe.” He expressed confidence that all parties would be “happy” with the agreement, emphasizing that something of great importance is underway, though he provided no further details on the nature of the deal or the parties involved. Trump’s comments come as the U.S. administration intensifies its diplomatic efforts to resume negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, as part of broader attempts to reach a settlement that would end the war that has been ongoing since February 2022.
