Bahraini Crown Prince Affirms Special Nature of Relations with Kuwait and Shared Commitment to Their Development

Manama -- Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed on Thursday the special nature of Kuwait-Bahrain relations, which enjoy the attention and care of the leaderships of the two brotherly countries, as well as their shared commitment to continuing their development and advancement across all fields. This statement was made during a meeting between the Bahraini Crown Prince and the Kuwaiti Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jasem Al-Najim, who conveyed greetings and appreciation from His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, may God protect and guard them, wishing them good health and well-being, and wishing Kuwait continued progress and prosperity. The Bahraini Crown Prince also underscored the depth of the fraternal and historical ties between Kuwait and Bahrain, which are based on solid bonds, close kinship, and extended cooperation, commending the level of bilateral relations and the coordination and cooperation they witness in various fields. During the meeting, the importance of continued consultation and coordination between the two brotherly countries on regional and international issues of mutual interest was reaffirmed, along with the need to enhance Gulf cooperation and support the progress of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in a manner that fulfills the aspirations of its member states and peoples. Additionally, ways to strengthen economic, trade, and investment cooperation and to capitalize on opportunities available in both countries were discussed. For his part, Ambassador Al-Najim expressed his pride in the deep fraternal and historical relations between Kuwait and Bahrain, which are founded on strong familial ties and extended historical cooperation, emphasizing the commitment of the two brotherly countries to continue enhancing and developing these relations across various fields to meet the aspirations of their leaderships and peoples. Ambassador Al-Najim stressed the importance of building on the cooperation and mutual understanding characterizing Kuwait-Bahrain relations, which would enhance partnership opportunities between the two countries and open broader fields for cooperation in various sectors, expressing Kuwait’s appreciation for Bahrain’s support of joint Gulf efforts and the advancement of the GCC.
