Kuwait City, 4 Nov (KUNA) – Kuwait’s Minister of Education, Sayed Jalal Al-Tabatabaei, held talks today, Wednesday, with Yang Xin, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Kuwait, to explore ways to enhance cooperation and coordination in educational and pedagogical fields, thereby supporting the distinguished bilateral relations and advancing the shared interests of the two countries.
The Ministry of Education said in a press release that the discussions took place during Minister Al-Tabatabaei’s reception of the Chinese ambassador and his accompanying delegation, as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral ties and joint cooperation between the two friendly nations.
It added that the parties discussed mechanisms for joint coordination to promote the teaching of the Chinese language in educational institutions, and to improve the capacity of specialized teachers through support for training and qualification programs and the exchange of educational expertise, all aimed at developing the educational process and raising the standard of Chinese language instruction.
