Chief of Staff discusses matters of mutual interest with Gulf military official

Kuwait City, 4 November (KUNA) – Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan, held talks today, Wednesday, with Commander of the Unified Military Command of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Lieutenant General Abdulaziz Al-Balawi, on key issues of mutual interest that contribute to supporting the progress of joint GCC military cooperation.

The General Staff issued a press statement stating that Lieutenant General Al-Sharhan received Lieutenant General Al-Balawi. During the friendly exchanges and discussions on the most important issues of mutual interest aimed at bolstering joint GCC military efforts and enhancing integration across various sectors among the armed forces of the GCC member states, the meeting was attended by Commander of the Peninsula Shield Force, Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Ruwais, and a number of senior commanding officers from both sides.
