Kuwait City, Nov 4 (KUNA) -- The Direct Investment Promotion Authority (DIPA) announced on Wednesday that direct investment inflows to Kuwait rose to KD 948 million (approximately $3.1 billion) during the 2025/2026 fiscal year.
In a press release issued alongside its 11th annual report, titled “Driving Growth,” the Authority stated that it approved 17 new investment entities during the year, bringing the total cumulative approved investments since 2015 to approximately KD 2.92 billion (around $9.6 billion), reflecting Kuwait’s growing attractiveness to international capital.
The Authority added that the annual report evaluates the economic impact of licensed investments in areas such as human capital development, technology transfer and localization, and expanding private sector participation, thereby supporting “Kuwait Vision 2035.”
It further noted that the report reviewed progress in implementing the Authority’s medium-term strategy (2025–2030), which aims to solidify Kuwait’s position as a future-ready economy based on investment and innovation by attracting high-impact investments, enhancing the investor experience, and continuing to develop digital and investment services. The report is available on the Authority’s official website and its digital platforms. (End) F.N.K./H.T.
