Central Agency and Court of Accounts Discuss Enhancing Cooperation and Joint Coordination

Kuwait -- The Central Agency for Addressing the Status of Illegal Residents held talks today, Wednesday, with the Court of Audit on areas of cooperation and joint coordination, work mechanisms, and the facilitation of regulatory procedures, aiming to enhance performance efficiency and expedite the processing of cases. In a press release, the Central Agency stated that its chairman, Saleh Al-Fadala, met with officials from the Court of Audit at his office. The meeting was followed by a coordination session chaired by the Acting Secretary-General of the Agency, Brigadier General Dr. Sharif Al-Kandari, with the attendance of several agency officials and leaders, as well as representatives of the Court. The agency added that the meeting addressed matters of mutual interest and ways to develop joint work mechanisms and streamline regulatory procedures in the public interest. Both sides emphasized, according to the statement, the importance of maintaining direct communication, complementing each other’s roles, and overcoming procedural obstacles to ensure smooth operations and the development of joint pathways within established frameworks and regulations.
