Kuwait City, 3 November (KUNA) -- The National Cybersecurity Center (NCC) held discussions with the Financial Supervision Authority (FSA) on ways to enhance cooperation and joint coordination in implementing Cabinet Resolution No. 681, which mandates prior coordination with the NCC before concluding contracts, agreements, or projects related to cybersecurity in government entities.
In a press statement issued on Tuesday, the NCC said its Chairperson, Engineer Abeer Al-Awadhi, discussed with FSA Chairperson Nada Al-Suhail and a specialized team of officials from both institutions the mechanisms for implementing the resolution.
It added that a specialized team has been formed to facilitate and expedite procedures and to examine cybersecurity-related matters with government entities and the FSA, thereby contributing to enhanced institutional cooperation. (End) A.A.R.
