Moscow, Nov 3 (KUNA) -- The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday that its armed forces launched strikes targeting two cargo ships, energy facilities, and port infrastructure in several Ukrainian regions. In a statement, the ministry said the Russian forces targeted two cargo vessels, one in the port of Yuzhny and the other in Black Sea waters, noting that they were transporting military equipment and dual-use goods for the Ukrainian armed forces. It added that the strikes also included infrastructure facilities at the Kiliia port in the Odesa region, which it claimed were used to support the Ukrainian military. The ministry further stated that Russian forces targeted four thermal power plants in the Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regions, along with two electrical substations. The Russian news agency RIA Novosti quoted the ministry as saying that Russian armed forces used Geran drones to strike four locomotives in the Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regions.
