Central Agency and Paternity Claims and Name Correction Committee discuss enhancing cooperation and facilitating procedures

Kuwait – The Central Agency for Addressing the Status of Illegal Residents and the Committee for Paternity Claims and Name Correction discussed on Tuesday the dimensions of cooperation and joint coordination, as well as mechanisms to streamline regulatory procedures, in order to enhance performance efficiency and expedite the processing of cases. In a press statement, the Central Agency said its chairman, Saleh Al-Fadlallah, met in his office with Ahmed Al-Amir, chairman of the Paternity Claims Committee. The meeting was followed by a coordination session chaired by the Agency’s Acting Secretary-General, Colonel Dr. Sharif Al-Kandari, with the attendance of assistant secretaries-general and several officials from both sides. The agency added that the meeting addressed matters of mutual interest and mechanisms for joint work, and both sides emphasized the importance of maintaining direct communication, complementing each other’s roles, and removing procedural obstacles to ensure the smooth flow of work and the development of its pathways in accordance with approved frameworks and regulations.
