Doha -- Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, held talks on Monday with Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Youssef Raji and Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty to discuss the latest regional developments. The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in two separate statements that the discussions took place during two phone calls, during which the parties reviewed bilateral cooperation relations and ways to support and strengthen them, as well as the latest regional developments, particularly diplomatic efforts and joint coordination to de-escalate tensions and enhance security and stability in the region. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman reaffirmed Qatar’s support for all diplomatic efforts and initiatives aimed at achieving a solution that guarantees freedom of maritime navigation and paves the way for a comprehensive agreement that ensures lasting peace in the region.
