Beirut, January 1 (KUNA) -- The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the Israeli occupation army continued its attacks in southern Lebanon on Sunday through bombings, bulldozing, air raids, and artillery shelling. The agency stated that the occupation forces carried out bombing operations in the towns of al-Qantara, Einatha, and Talousa. It noted that the occupation army conducted bulldozing operations in the town of Zouitar al-Sharqiya, with “large bulldozers seen undermining and destroying house columns, accompanied by military forces.” The agency added that the occupation army’s artillery shelled the outskirts of the towns of Aita al-Shaab and Qabaiya, in the direction of Wadi al-Salouqi. It further noted that the occupation air force launched an airstrike on a house in Braichit, in addition to strikes on the area between the towns of Nabatiya al-Fouqa and Kafr Binnet. The agency also reported that the military air force struck Wadi al-Hajjar in the direction of the town of al-Ghandouria, in the vicinity of olive groves where residents were harvesting their crops, without reporting any casualties. It is worth noting that the Israeli occupation army, which has been stationed in dozens of southern villages and towns since the resumption of the war in March last year, continues its daily attacks in the south, systematically carrying out house bombings and land bulldozing.
