Legitimacy Support Alliance: Execution of a distinctive military operation to neutralize vital sources used by (Houthi) militia

Riyadh, Jan 11 (KUNA) -- The Coalition for Supporting Legitimacy in Yemen announced on Sunday the execution of a landmark military operation to neutralize vital resources used by the Houthi terrorist militia to bolster its war effort, enhance its military capabilities, and carry out repeated attacks on civilians, while threatening the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and maritime navigation routes in the southern Red Sea.

In a press statement, Coalition spokesperson Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki said the operation was carried out on Sunday morning, following the continued deliberate and systematic attacks by the Houthi terrorist militia on civilians and civilian infrastructure in Yemen and Saudi Arabia. He noted that it was confirmed that the militia continues to exploit vital resources to support its war effort and enhance its military capabilities, particularly ballistic missiles and drones, which underscores its terrorist and brutal methodology by employing vital resources to serve its hostile activities.

Al-Maliki affirmed that the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition will continue to take necessary operational measures to deter the Houthi terrorist militia and halt its use of vital resources to support its war effort. He stressed the necessity of halting all hostile operations against civilians and civilian infrastructure, warning that the Houthi terrorist militia will bear the consequences of continuing its hostile conduct.
