Zain Premier League: Al-Tadamun defeats Al-Sahel (3-2) to open seventh round

Kuwait City, Oct 31 (KUNA) — Al-Tadhamon Club defeated Al-Sahel 3-2 on Saturday in the opening match of the seventh round of the Zain Premier League. At the Al-Tadhamon Stadium, the home side secured a crucial victory, their first of the league season, overturning an early goal deficit to claim all three points. Al-Sahel took the lead in the 11th minute through player Fadel Al-Sarraf, but Al-Tadhamon equalized after a series of attacks in the 40th minute via Abdulrahman Al-Rashidi, ending the first half in a positive draw. In the second half, Abdulrahman Al-Rashidi struck again in the 72nd minute to score his team’s second goal and his personal second, before teammate Saud Qasim added a third in the 75th minute. Al-Sahel’s Alin De Souza reduced the deficit by scoring their second goal in the 87th minute, but the match ended with Al-Tadhamon winning 3-2.
