(Interior): Five Suspects Arrested in Four Cases of Drug Trafficking, Psychotropic Substances, and Use

The Ministry of Interior announced on Thursday the arrest of five suspects in four separate cases related to the trafficking and use of narcotics and psychotropic substances. In a press release, the Ministry stated that the General Directorate for Combating Narcotics had apprehended the suspects as part of ongoing security efforts to combat such activities and bring those involved to justice. It clarified that the operations resulted in the seizure of 4,000 capsules of the psychotropic substance Lariqa, four kilograms of powder of the same substance, and 170 grams of the narcotic drug methamphetamine. The seizures also included 15 sheets soaked with the narcotic substance “Chemical,” one gram of the same substance, five grams of narcotic cannabis, one gram of narcotic cocaine, and four sensitive scales.
