UAE stresses importance of de-escalation and prioritizing diplomatic solutions in the region

Abu Dhabi, October 28 (KUNA) -- The United Arab Emirates stressed today, Wednesday, the importance of de-escalation and prioritizing political and diplomatic solutions to address current crises in the region, thereby contributing to preserving its security and stability. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that dialogue and adherence to international law constitute two fundamental pillars for resolving crises, reflecting the UAE’s steadfast approach of settling disputes through diplomatic and peaceful means. It reiterated calls for prioritizing wisdom and political solutions to contain tensions, prevent their escalation, safeguard the region’s security and stability, and preserve opportunities for development and prosperity for its peoples. The ministry emphasized the need to intensify diplomatic efforts and coordinate with regional and international partners to support crisis-resolution initiatives and consolidate peace and stability, in line with the aspirations of the region’s peoples for a more secure and prosperous future.
