Aden, October 28 (KUNA) – The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Wednesday the execution of 749 precise strike operations against the military capabilities of the Houthi militias during the past 24 hours, as part of Operation “Fajr al-Yemen.”
The official spokesperson for the Armed Forces, Colonel Majid Al-Nazili, stated in a press release that the operations resulted in the neutralization of 239 militia leaders and fighters, and the destruction and damage of 117 combat vehicles, machinery, and equipment. He said the strikes targeted field command centers, fortifications, artillery positions, reinforcements, and the militias’ movement and supply means across various fronts and axes.
He added that the operations contributed to suppressing fire sources, disrupting the militias’ field command, and depriving their forward positions of support and resupply.
He noted that units of the Yemeni Armed Forces and the Popular Resistance continued in Taiz Governorate to consolidate their field gains and expand pressure on Houthi positions, pointing to the continuation of offensive operations on the fronts of Al-Jawf, Marib, Al-Bayda, and the southern and southwestern fronts.
