President Trump hints at launching a new military operation against Iran "soon"

Washington, Oct 23 (KUNA) – U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday that the United States could launch a new military operation against Iran “soon” if no agreement is reached with Tehran. Speaking at a campaign rally in Florida, Trump said, “We completely destroyed Iran’s ability to enrich uranium through the ‘Midnight Hammer’ operation, and then we completed the mission with the ‘Epic Fury’ operation.” He added, “We may launch another small ‘Epic Fury’ operation, or perhaps they will agree to a deal,” urging Iran to enter into serious negotiations while expressing doubt about its response. The U.S. president reiterated that the United States had “defeated” Iran and predicted a sharp drop in oil prices in the near future. (End) R.S.R./H.M.F.
