Doha, October 22 (KUNA) – Qatar condemned today, Thursday, the Houthi group’s targeting of King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, which resulted in two deaths, injuries to others, and material damage, constituting a serious violation of Saudi sovereignty and a direct threat to the security of the region, the safety of civilians and civilian property, and air navigation.
In a statement, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Qatar’s full solidarity with the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all lawful measures it takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security, territorial integrity, and interests. It emphasized that Saudi security is an integral part of Qatar’s security and of the collective security framework of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
