Riyadh, 20 October (KUNA) -- Al-Nassr defeated Neom 1-0, while Al-Ittihad overcame host Al-Ettifaq 4-1 on Tuesday in the tenth round of the Saudi Professional League’s Roshn League.
At the First Park stadium in Riyadh, Portuguese star Joao Felix scored the only goal of the match in the 61st minute, guiding Al-Nassr to victory and lifting their tally to 22 points, placing them third. Neom remained on 16 points, sitting sixth.
In the second match, held at Al-Ettifaq’s stadium in Dammam, Al-Ittihad took the lead through Nigerian forward George Ilenikhena in the 16th minute, before Sultan Haroun equalized for Al-Ettifaq in the 34th minute. Al-Ittihad regained the lead with a second goal from Algerian striker Houssem Aouar in the 53rd minute, and Moroccan forward Youssef En-Nesyri sealed the win by scoring the third and fourth goals in the 80th and 85th minutes, respectively.
