Saudi Civil Defense issues early warning in Riyadh and Al-Kharj

Riyadh, Oct 19 (KUNA) – The Saudi Civil Defense launched an early warning on Monday for the city of Riyadh and Al-Kharj Governorate, urging the public to follow safety guidelines and official instructions. In a statement, the Civil Defense called for maintaining calm and immediately moving to the nearest safe location inside a building or an interior room away from windows, and remaining there until the danger has passed. It advised against leaving homes or buildings, avoiding open areas and glass, and refraining from standing on balconies or rooftops. The statement also urged people to call the emergency number (998) if they observe any danger and to follow instructions issued by the competent authorities through official channels.
