Kuwait City, 19 October (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect him, conferred the Order of Mubarak Al-Kabeer on His Excellency Emmanuel Macron, President of the friendly French Republic, in appreciation and gratitude from the Kuwaiti people for his excellency and to strengthen and enhance the good relations between the friendly French Republic and the State of Kuwait. In turn, His Excellency conferred on His Highness the Grand Cross of the French Legion of Honour, the highest class of France’s premier national order, in recognition of His Highness’s prominent role in expanding the horizons of cooperation and strengthening ties between the State of Kuwait and the friendly French Republic across all fields, at Bayan Palace this morning.
