Manama, October 18 (KUNA) -- The Kingdom of Bahrain expressed its sympathy and solidarity with Turkey’s leadership, government, and people following heavy rains and floods that struck Istanbul, resulting in several deaths, injuries, and missing persons, as well as significant material losses. In a statement, the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs conveyed the Kingdom’s sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the Turkish government and people, as well as to the families and relatives of the victims, in this tragic calamity, praying to Almighty God to have mercy on the deceased, grant swift recovery to the injured, and ensure safety for all.
