Aden, Oct 18 (KUNA) – The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Sunday the execution of 1,326 precise targeting operations during the past 24 hours as part of Operation “Fajr al-Yemen” against Houthi militia concentrations, their vehicles, fortifications, and firing positions.

In a statement, Colonel Majid al-Nazili, the official spokesperson for the Armed Forces, said that preliminary assessments indicated the operations neutralized approximately 370 militia members and destroyed or damaged dozens of military vehicles and equipment.

He added that the Armed Forces intensified their offensive toward designated targets in the Marib front following preparatory bombardment, while warplanes and drones continued to support advance axes, targeting militia movements, reinforcements, and artillery positions.

He clarified that coordinated field advances and operational pressure on the southern and western fronts restricted the militias’ ability to maneuver and transfer reserves, preventing them from reorganizing their combat formations across axes.

In Taizz Governorate, al-Nazili confirmed that the Armed Forces, backed by popular resistance, seized several positions and recovered heavy weapons and military equipment, coinciding with strikes against militia reinforcements and the dismantling of their defensive positions.

He stressed that all targeting was directed at legitimate military objectives after verification, with necessary precautions taken to protect civilians and civilian property. (End) S.N.S. / M.A.H.A.
