Saudi Foreign Minister and His Jordanian Counterpart Discuss Latest Regional Developments

Riyadh, October 17 (KUNA) -- Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held talks today, Saturday, with Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on the latest developments in the region and the efforts underway to contain conflicts there and mitigate their negative repercussions at both the regional and international levels. The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the discussion took place during a phone call received by Prince Faisal bin Farhan from his Jordanian counterpart. The ministry added that the call emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and joint consultation regarding current challenges, and reaffirmed the solidarity between the two brotherly countries in confronting any developments that could undermine their security and stability, as well as those that contribute to enhancing the security of the region’s countries and safeguarding the interests of their peoples.
