Kuwait City, 12 October (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received a telephone call today from his brother, His Excellency President Nizar al-Amidi, President of the Republic of Iraq, a fraternal country. The call reviewed the solid bilateral relations between the two countries and their peoples, as well as ways to support and develop these ties across various fields. It also addressed issues of mutual interest and the latest developments on the regional and international fronts, particularly regarding the current situation in the region, with an exchange of views and an emphasis on the necessity of ending escalation and returning to dialogue and diplomacy to resolve all outstanding issues.
