Yemeni army: 1,732 targeting operations carried out against Houthi military sites

Aden, October 11 (KUNA) -- The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Sunday the execution of 1,732 targeting operations against military sites and objectives belonging to the Houthi militias as part of Operation “Fajr al-Yemen,” coinciding with the advance of their forces along attack axes.

In a statement, Colonel Majid al-Nazili, the official spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, said the operations were carried out using combat aircraft, drones, field artillery, and rocket launchers. They targeted defensive positions, command and control centers, observation and reconnaissance points, artillery emplacements, rocket launchers, assembly and reinforcement areas, weapons and ammunition depots, vehicles, and transport and supply logistics.

He added that the operations resulted in neutralizing more than 900 militia fighters, destroying or damaging over 287 military vehicles and equipment, silencing fire sources, disrupting the command and control system, and hindering reinforcements and supply lines.

He affirmed that the Yemeni Armed Forces continue to breach the militias’ defensive positions, expand their advances, and continue offensive operations in accordance with the operational plan. (End) S.N.S. / M.A.H.A.
