Saudi Foreign Minister and Syrian counterpart discuss regional developments in phone call

Riyadh, October 11 (KUNA) -- Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held talks today with his Syrian counterpart, Asaad al-Shaybani, on regional developments and joint efforts by the two countries to support the security and stability of the region. The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the discussion took place during a phone call received by Prince Faisal bin Farhan from his Syrian counterpart, Asaad al-Shaybani. It added that the Syrian foreign minister expressed his country’s condemnation of the blatant attacks by the Houthi militia targeting King Khalid International Airport in the capital, Riyadh, emphasizing that the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of the security of Syria and the entire region.
