Cairo, October 11 (KUNA) – Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Fahmi affirmed today, Sunday, the League’s full support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the face of the ongoing attacks launched by the (Houthi) militia on the Kingdom, which have resulted in casualties of various nationalities. In a statement, Fahmi said that the continuation of these attacks and the disregard for civilian lives constitute a highly dangerous escalation and a blatant violation of the rules and principles of international law, noting that their recurrence reveals an insistence on pursuing an escalation strategy that threatens the security and stability of the region. He reaffirmed the Arab League’s complete and steadfast solidarity with and support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its backing of all measures taken to protect its security and stability and to safeguard the safety of citizens and residents within its territory.
