Kuwaiti Envoy Discusses Cooperation and Expertise Exchange with Algerian Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry

Algiers, October 11 (KUNA) – Kuwait’s Ambassador to Algeria, Nawaf Boushibeh, held talks on Sunday with Algerian Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry Wasim Kaidri to explore ways to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise between the two countries in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.
In a statement, the Kuwaiti Embassy in Algeria said that Ambassador Nawaf Zidan Boushibeh met with Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry Dr. Wasim Kaidri at the ministry’s headquarters, attended by senior officials of the sector. Both parties praised the deep, distinguished historical relations linking the two brotherly countries.
The statement clarified that the two sides discussed the importance of strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing, an area of particular importance given Algeria’s extensive experience in this field.
The Kuwaiti ambassador commended the diversity, multiplicity, and success of Algerian companies in local pharmaceutical production, noting their ability to cover a large share of domestic market needs and other medical supplies. He also reviewed with the Algerian minister the prospects for supporting bilateral efforts aimed at enhancing cooperation in this sector.
Ambassador Boushibeh reaffirmed Kuwait’s desire to support bilateral cooperation in pharmaceutical industries and medical supplies, emphasizing the need to work toward ensuring coordination between the relevant authorities in both countries to organize meetings between specialists, with a view to developing cooperation in this vital and important field.
