Manama, Oct 11 (KUNA) -- Bahraini Minister of Information Dr. Ramzan Al-Naemi today praised Kuwait’s leading media and cultural standing and its significant contributions to media and cultural production, enriching the Gulf landscape. The remarks came during a meeting between Minister Al-Naemi and Kuwait’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jasem Al-Najim, who underscored the deep fraternal and historical ties between the two brotherly countries, rooted in familial and social bonds, and supported by the care and attention of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and his counterpart, Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect and guard them.
Minister Al-Naemi emphasized the importance of strengthening media and cultural cooperation between the two countries, exchanging expertise and experiences to develop media and cultural work and serve shared interests.
For his part, Ambassador Al-Najim affirmed Kuwait’s commitment to continuing to enhance bilateral and fraternal relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain across various fields, particularly in media and culture, stressing the importance of expanding cooperation and joint coordination to strengthen bilateral ties and bring benefits to both countries and their brotherly peoples.
The two sides discussed ways to develop bilateral media and cultural cooperation, the importance of enhancing media coordination among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and continuing joint efforts to elevate Gulf media.
