Lebanon reaffirms solidarity with Saudi Arabia against Houthi attacks
Beirut, October 11 (KUNA) -- Lebanon reaffirmed on Sunday its solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against the attacks carried out by Houthi militias. Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, in a statement posted on his X social media account, said, “The renewed threats today by the Houthi group to target Saudi airports and airspace, following its attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, reveal their determination to continue threatening the security of the Kingdom, which constitutes a destabilization of the region’s security and stability.” Salam added, “We express our full solidarity with the brotherly people of Saudi Arabia and its leadership, and offer our deepest condolences to the families of the innocent victims who were killed. I share their grief and pain, and I pray for the swift recovery of the injured.” Lebanon reaffirmed its complete solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its steadfast support for the Kingdom in any measures it deems appropriate to defend itself, protect its people, and safeguard its security and sovereignty.
