Doha, 10 October (KUNA) -- Qatar strongly condemned the Houthi group’s attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which resulted in injuries, describing them as a serious violation of Saudi sovereignty and a direct threat to the security of the region, as well as to the safety of civilians, civilian objects, and air navigation. In a statement issued on Saturday, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Qatar’s full solidarity with its sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its steadfast support for all lawful measures undertaken by Riyadh to safeguard its sovereignty, security, territorial integrity, and interests. It emphasized that Saudi security is an integral part of Qatar’s security and of the collective security framework of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
