Doha, October 10 (KUNA) – Qatar expressed its solidarity with Panama in the face of the aftermath of the earthquake that struck the country, causing buildings and roads to collapse, material damage, evacuation operations, and injuries to several people. In a statement issued on Saturday, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs conveyed Qatar’s wishes for the swift recovery of the injured. The 7.7-magnitude earthquake hit Panama on Friday, and its tremors were felt by residents of the capital and other regions of the country, as well as in neighboring areas of Colombia.
