Omani Foreign Minister expresses his country's solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its rejection of targeting civilian facilities

Muscat, 10 October (KUNA) -- Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al Busaidi expressed on Saturday the Sultanate’s solidarity with the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its rejection of attacks on civilian facilities or any infringement on their security and the safety of civilians. The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that this came during a phone call with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, during which the two ministers exchanged views on regional developments. It added that they emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and consultation and enhancing efforts to contain tensions and consolidate de-escalation, thereby paving the way for political dialogue and promoting the resolution of all issues and crises through peaceful means, in order to safeguard the security and stability of the region.
