Riyadh, October 9 (KUNA) — The Muslim World League today strongly condemned the continued criminal aggression by the Houthi terrorist militias against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including their targeting of King Khalid International Airport and a Saudi Arabian Airlines aircraft, which resulted in the deaths of three Saudi citizens and injured several citizens and residents of various nationalities.
In a statement by the League’s General Secretariat, Secretary-General and Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad al-Issa, reiterated his condemnation of these treacherous terrorist attacks, which violate all religious values, international laws, and humanitarian norms, and underscore the criminal approach of these terrorist militias in deliberately targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure.
Al-Issa affirmed, “on behalf of the League’s assemblies, bodies, and global councils, and on behalf of all Islamic peoples under its umbrella, our full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to deter the aggressors and safeguard its security and the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory.” He prayed to God Almighty to protect the Kingdom, its land, leadership, and people from all harm and evil, to have mercy on the martyrs, grant them a place in His vast Paradise, and grant the injured swift recovery.
